Club 1450 (Sunday School for K-6th Graders)
 | Jesus said in Mark 10:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these". At White Rock UMC, we want our children to feel at home here and know God's love for them so that they may become disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are committed to teaching our children God's word through creative curriculum. Club 1450 integrates cooking, science, storytelling, music and art to tell the stories of the Bible. In this active learning environment, the stories come alive and the teachings become relevant to the children. The muliple intellegences style enhances the stories so that each child has the opportunity to learn in their own style as they embark on their own spiritual journey learning to use God's example of love, giving, and sharing in their daily lives.
The Current Theme is Adam and Eve. Our Subject areas are cooking and art. Our teachers are Susan Langley and Sharon Johnson. It will be interesting to see how cooking and art apply to Adam and Eve. Do you think they’ll use apples? Hmm… Show up to find out!

Organ Crawl February 28th
|
|
On Feb. 28th the Wednesday Jammers and any other folks who are interested will take an in house field trip with Lynn Johnson upstairs to crawl around WRUMC’s Organ Chamber Pipe Room.
This field trip is a great chance for the Jammers to gain a better understanding of how the pipe organ works. Anyone else that is interested in participating in this field trip, please let Linda Craig know. It should be fun to walk up those stairs to a place where few people have gone.
